  • Talk, Listen, Cuddle This has been running for many years and have an excellent following from Essex parents, early years settings and schools. The campaign has naturally evolved over this time to meet the needs of families and settings in Essex. The site will regularly post a range of ideas, top tips and games to support children’s language, physical and emotional development. Its aim is to ensure children start school ready to explore, learn and make friends.
  • Tiny happy people A chatty child is a happy child, so Tiny Happy People is here to help you develop your child's communication skills through simple interaction and play.

All children also have access to the following educational accounts where they are able to engage with a wide range of learning tasks. If you cannot remember the log in details, let us know by emailing the school on admin@waterlane.essex.sch.uk

  • Purple Mash A website that uses computing to cover a range of curriculum subjects. 'Minimash' is fantastic for Reception children!
  • Bug Club Online books with comprehension questions.
  • Charanga A music scheme that the school uses. The children are able to access the work assigned to them in their workspace.
