Beating Heart
In Science, this half term we have been studying the heart and how it functions. We have created heart drawings and diagrams to explain different jobs the heart does. As a class we have investigated the heart through experiments focusing on pulse rate and exercise.
World War 2
This Half term our topic is World War 2. We have created gas masks using a set of instructions and card. In art, we used chalks to make a background effect of the blitz and black paper to create a silhouette of the buildings. We have also created diary entries from evacuees, soldiers and children from the war, through their perspective.
